About you

Hinterland Speech Pathology provides support...

• To adults and teenagers over the age of 17

• In the community (e.g. cafes, libraries and public spaces)

About Your Speech Pathologist

Hi 👋 my name is Georgia and this is my pup Archie.

I'm a Speech Pathologist with 7 years experience working with people from all walks of life. I am passionate about helping people to do what they love to do in life.

I started Hinterland Speech Pathology through lived experience and a passion for providing collaborative, evidence-based support to people with a disability in our Sunshine Coast community. 
​
I have completed training and am experienced in:

• SoundsWrite® Certified
• LSVT Loud® Certified​
• Training in the assessment and management of complex Dysphagia in acquired and developmental conditions
• Key Word Sign trained
• AAC (communication device) language systems including PECS, LAMP, Grid 3, TD Snap, Grid 3, Proloquo2Go and PODD
• Experience with a range of AAC access systems (low, mid and high cost Assistive Technology), including iPad, eye Gaze and complex access systems assessment, prescription and implementation. ​
• Talking Mats Certified

Georgia is experienced in providing services to people with diagnoses such as Aphasia (post-stroke diagnosis), Parkinson's Disease, Huntington's Disease, Ataxia, Apraxia of Speech, Traumatic Brain Injury, Functional Neurological Disorder, Dementia Autism, ADHD.
