Essential service information

Hinterland Speech Pathology supports:
  • People over the age of 17.
  • People who can engage in sessions in community spaces (as a part of their support) or in their own home.
  • We offer in-clinic support upon request at the Maleny Community Centre.

Support days and locations:
We are a mobile service which operates in different geographical areas each day. Due to this, we are unable to offer appointments outside of these days and do not operate a waitlist. 
  • Monday: Maleny and southern hinterland surrounds
  • Tuesday: Caloundra
  • Wednesday: Maleny, Nambour and surrounds

Funding schemes we work with:
  • NDIS participants who are plan or self managed.
  • Support at Home or private health insurance (no GP referral needed). 
  • Patients referred by their GP for Medicare subsidised health plans, DVA, or WorkCover claims.​ ​
  • Clients paying out of pocket/fee for service.

Please note: Georgia will be taking extended leave from the 1st of July 2026. Due to this, we are currently not accepting referrals or new clients. 

For those seeking support from February 2027, referral enquiries are welcome via this form or Medical Objects. We may not be available to respond to your enquiry until early 2027.
    We are a primarily mobile service. Our availability differs depending on where you'd like to access support.

Once we receive your enquiry, we'll get in touch to discuss your needs and either refer you to a more suitable service or book in an appointment with you in our next available timeslot.
